John Alba
FOUNDER
As the Founder of National Efficiency Supply (NES), a specialty retrofit distributor, John utilizes his years of experience in various roles within the energy efficiency industry. This experience has enabled him to help launch a new and innovated business model within the marketplace. John has been able to bring the best value in specialty distribution to the end-user and esco alike delivering energy efficient lighting & controls, ev charging, and heat pump retrofit products in a format customized to the needs and wants of the customer.
Early in John’s career he spent 15 years in the lighting market working in national account and esco sales for the nation's leading electrical distributors and the leading universal waste recycling company. Immediately prior to launching NES, John worked as a business development manager and a design and implementation manager for Horizon Energy Services where he sold and or designed and implemented projects that are saving customers millions of dollars in electrical and gas usage and have improved the appearance and functionality of their facilities.
John earned a master’s degree in management from Cambridge College, completed his undergraduate work in Business Administration at UMASS Boston, and has been a CLMC (certified lighting management consultant) since 2008.
Christopher Craft
VP, Sales
Chris is a seasoned executive with over 10 years of experience in LED lighting and most recently the head of the EV Charger division. As the Vice President in this sector, he has played a crucial role in driving innovation and spearheading business growth. With his deep industry knowledge and strategic vision, Chris has successfully led teams in developing cutting-edge LED lighting solutions and advancing the adoption of electric vehicles. His passion for sustainable technologies and his ability to deliver results make him a valuable asset to NES.
Erin O’Malley
General Manager
Erin is a highly accomplished professional with a stellar history in office management, bringing her wealth of experience to the role of General Manager at NES. Known for her dedication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, Erin has played a pivotal role in optimizing office operations and fostering a positive work environment. With over 10 years of experience in office management, Erin has excelled in streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Outside the professional realm, Erin finds joy in spending quality time with her family. Whether it's a weekend getaway or a cozy evening at home, she values the importance of work-life balance and cherishes moments with loved ones. Henry “Bo” Berthiaume
Lighting Solutions Manager
Henry "Bo" Berthiaume is our Lighting Solutions manager with extensive knowledge in the lighting business. An industry veteran, Bo has been in the lighting industry since 2002. While working as a lead installer for a local contractor, Bo has lead several projects for major companies. He left that side of the business and joined NES in the summer of 2015. He truly is a jack of all trades and very dedicated to his work. With thousands of projects under his belt, Bo is truly dedicated to helping businesses reach their maximum efficiency.
David Derrah
Sr. Business Development Mgr.
Dave has been in the LED Retrofit business since 2014.
He came from a career in the telecom industry with Verizon, Nextel and finally Sprint before joining the NES Team.
When not hard at work he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, fine dining and travel.

Kent Dodge
Warehouse Manager
Looking for a change of pace after over 30 years as a Toyota mechanic, Kent Dodge became Warehouse Manager at NES, where his experience shines. Kent oversees warehouse operations with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset. His leadership extends beyond the warehouse floor, creating a collaborative work environment and serving as a mentor to the team. Outside of work, Kent was a dedicated Scout Master for many years, volunteering his time to guide and mentor young scouts. His commitment to community service reflects his values of leadership and mentorship, making him an asset both in and out of the workplace.
Daniel Goldenberg

Hi, I'm Dan Goldenberg. Many of you know me as Dan the LED Man. I have been happily married for 39 wonderful years, cherishing every moment with my beloved spouse. As a proud father of five incredible children and a doting grandfather of two adorable grandchildren, my life is filled with immense joy and fulfillment. I enjoy traveling, music and crafting several types of homemade beer.

In her past role as a retail manager, Courtney specialized in top-notch guest experiences, showcasing her adeptness in fostering positive interactions. Her professional journey also led her to explore the realm of envelope manufacturing, where she honed her attention to detail and office skills. She is currently finding great fulfillment in her position within the accounting department at NES, where she brings her acquired experience to contribute to the team's success that also provides a dynamic environment for continuous growth. Outside of her professional career, Courtney is always in search of new places to explore and reveling in the beauty of the outdoors. You might catch her playing in the woods, kayaking or tending to houseplants, a hobby that brings balance and tranquility to her life.
Matthew Goetz

Matt is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of the EnergiWise division at NES. With a career spanning over 25 years, Matt has established himself as a dynamic leader and expert in driving sustainable energy solutions. Focused on the ESCO market along with electrification, Matt’s commitment to advancing sustainable practices and reducing environmental impact underscores his passion for creating a greener future. Matt's work promotes energy efficiency and conservation across the NES portfolio, forging strategic partnerships and delivering impactful solutions that optimize energy usage for clients.
Matt holds a BS from the University of Rhode Island and continues to stay at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements in energy efficiency. Matt enjoys spending time with his family, golfing with friends, and boating.
